UPDATE: You’ve waited a long time for this one Yeezy fans. The coveted adidas Yeezy Boost 750 ‘Chocolate’ is set to release really soon on October 15. The strapped luxe sneaker features a premium cocoa coloured nubuck upper sitting atop a delicious gum-colored glow in the dark Boost sole. Those hoping to score a pair can increase their chances by pre-registering via the adidas Confirmed app (in certain regions). Until then, hold-tight!
UPDATE: We’ve had our campout gear at the ready for months in anticipation, but it looks like we finally have a release date for these bad boys. Well, that is to say a release date confirmed to Highsnobiety by an ‘in-the-know’ source that wishes to remain anonymous. Apparently, the chocolatey rendition of the 750 will be hitting stores on June 11th. In addition, the source states that the colourway is officially ‘Grilleg’. Whether this is the full name or just an abbreviation is unknown. Hell, whether any of this information is official remains to be seen, but better safe than sorry, right?
Sneaky leak shots of the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 ‘Chocolate’ have been doing the rounds for months, but we’ve finally found a decent set of snaps showing the shoe in all its glory. We’ve gotta admit we’ve sat on the fence with the 750 in the past; knowing that only a fool declares evil that which they don’t understand, we didn’t want to come out with the knives too soon if history proved it to be a revolutionary design. But now that the dust has settled and the silhouette isn’t so mind melting, we can appreciate this iteration of the 750 and definitely believe it to be the best yet. There is more finesse with the materials used and experimentation with complementary and contrasting tones across the zipper, upper, laces and strap. Then there’s the aged-looking gum sole holding it all down low. Not bad at all. We can see these fitting in real nice with a post-apocalyptic, torn-shirt Dere-licte Kanye outfit.
They’re due out soon, but we don’t know exactly when. Stay tuned to SF! Pics via Sneakers Addict.
